Sarah Shortreed

Background

Sarah is a Global Technology Executive and Board Director. She has delivered innovative technology initiatives at industry-leading organizations such as Metrie, ATCO, Bruce Power, Blackberry and IBM by modernizing IT systems and infrastructure, implementing new IT delivery models and increasing cyber security capability. She is currently the CIO at Metrie, an independent director at Associated Engineering, and Board Chair at Western University. She has a mechanical engineering degree from Western, is a Fellow in the Canadian Academy of Engineering, and holds her ICD.D designation.
