Milad Sakiani

Background

Milad is a technology executive with deep expertise in cybersecurity, cloud transformation, and AI enablement. As Vice President, Information Technology at Nicola Wealth, he leads the firm's technology, cybersecurity, data, and AI strategy, establishing robust cybersecurity program, advancing toward a Zero Trust architecture, and driving enterprise AI adoption.

Previously, Milad served as Director of IT and Broadcast Services at BC Pavilion Corporation, unifying IT operations across BC Place and the Vancouver Convention Centre. He has also held technology roles at Simon Fraser University and Electronic Arts. Milad holds an Executive MBA from SFU and a Bachelor of Computer Science from UBC. He is an active contributor to Vancouver's CIO, CIO Canada community, and CISO community regularly engaging with peers to share insights and advance best practices in technology leadership and cybersecurity.
